Mini Gingham Shirts

A plain weave fabric has warp and weft threads interlaced in a simple, over-and-under pattern. This creates a smooth, uniform surface with a tight, durable structure. For this reason it is one of the most popular weaves used in shirtmaking.

Plain weaves are good for shirts as they are strong, durable and easy to maintain. They are also smooth and have a soft hand feel. They drape well and can be made from a variety of fibres though ours are all 100% cotton. Additionally, plain weave fabrics are lightweight, making them comfortable to wear in warmer weather.
