Payment Terms:
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order, with the remaining balance due upon collection of your completed suit.
- We accept payments by cash, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX (2% surcharge), and bank transfer (BACs). Cheques are accepted, however the order will only commence once funds are cleared.
Appointments:
- Private Appointments – Showroom & Tailoring Visits:
We offer private appointments for clients to browse our fabric options and consult with our style consultants. Our business hours are listed on our website. Please note that contacting our staff outside of business hours is at their discretion.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
- Private Home or Office Appointments:
We offer a home or office tailoring service also. This service costs £60 per hour, plus £1 per mile for travel. The charge is calculated and agreed in advance.
- Online Appointments:
We offer consultations via Zoom or WhatsApp Video.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
- As our garments are custom-made to your specifications, we do not offer refunds. However, if there is a production error, we will rectify the order at no additional cost.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of placing an order will receive a full refund, minus a £30 administration fee, provided work has not already begun.
- Once fabric cutting begins, cancellation is not possible. If you cancel before cutting, the charge is 10% of the order value. After cutting, 50% will be charged, and after fitting, 75% will be charged. An administration fee of £30 will also apply.
- Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by these terms.
Product Use & Materials:
- We source our cloth from UK and Italian mills and merchants, suitable for our range of garments, including suits, jackets, trousers, waistcoats, shirts, and overcoats. We will confirm with our suppliers if any doubt arises regarding suitability.
Client Satisfaction & Adjustments:
- If there’s an issue with your order, contact us at info@perfectlytailored.co.uk. An in-person fitting or a virtual fitting via Zoom/WhatsApp will be required to assess the issue.
- If garments need to be returned for alteration, postage costs are the client’s responsibility.
- We aim to resolve any issues within 28 days, as we need to liaise with production.
Alterations & Remakes:
- Alterations will be completed as agreed during the fitting process. If the garment requires remaking due to fit issues, we will do so without additional cost, placing the remake under the same timeline as the original order.
- We reserve the right to refuse alterations that may compromise the garment’s quality or fit.
- If requested alterations are not possible, we may remake the garment at no extra charge, following the same production timeline.
Order Lead Times:
- Standard orders typically take up to 8 weeks to complete. Express and Super Express options are available at additional cost, with completion times of 5 weeks and 4 weeks, respectively.
- Alterations will be completed in no less than 2 weeks. Express alterations can be arranged for £25, ensuring completion in under 2 weeks.
- Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including fabric availability, production schedules, and external events such as postal delays or force majeure.
Cancellation and Adjustments After Order Placement:
- We only accept order cancellations in writing, and cancellation charges are as outlined above.
- Any amendments or additional changes after the first fitting may incur extra charges.
International Orders & Postage:
- All postage costs, including international charges and any taxes or duties, are the responsibility of the client.
- Return postage is also the client’s responsibility. We will not reimburse these costs.
Toile Fittings:
- Some orders may require a toile (a basic cotton or calico version of the garment) to ensure proper fit. There is a £99 charge for a toile fitting, if applicable.
- Once the first toile fitting is completed, the garment is produced within 4 weeks. Changes made after the toile fitting may incur additional charges.
Goodwill Items:
- Occasionally, we may offer a bespoke item as a gesture of goodwill. These items are subject to availability and created at our discretion. Additional costs, such as postage and taxes, are the client’s responsibility. Goodwill items are non-refundable.
Brand Partnerships:
- We work with brand ambassadors and influencers under legally binding agreements. Non-compliance with these terms may result in the recovery of associated costs, including legal fees. All created content and images remain the property of Perfectly Tailored.
Updates to Terms & Conditions:
- We may update these terms periodically. Please check our website regularly for any changes. Your statutory rights remain unaffected by these terms.
